The Biraghi company was founded in 1934. It has always operated on the dairy sector, and has through time become a high-tech company due to the advanced production technology it uses.

It produces a vast range of products: Granbiraghi long maturing cheese, to Gorgonzola DOP, not to mention ricotta, butter and related products. The Biraghi company receives no less than 400.000 litres of milk each day which is systematically checked as it comes in from the dairy farms of the Po plains. The production site covers a total area of 166.000 square metres. 50.000 of which are covered, and employing a total workforce of 250 employes.

Biraghi S.p.A. is certified as being in compliance with the voluntary regulation UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 in the "Development, production, maturing, portioning. grating anf packaging of cheese. The development, production and packaging of products derived from milk and whey". Biraghi is also renowned for its impeccable service quality; it has been its portioned products which, over the past 10 years, has led to its undisputed success. Its Biraghini products have acquired a 60% share of the italian market.

Biraghi seems set to further expand and consolidate its presence on international markets and can therefore look forward to a bright future.
