Bajamar originated in Navarra in 1966. It's main activities are the production and sale of vegetable preserves and ready cooked meals. Specialised in asparagus and peppers, both sweet red and hot piquillos, the vegetable range also includes soya sprouts, artichokes and bamboo shoots amongst others. The Mamía de Bajamar ready meals range is dynamic and grows constantly, aimed at providing a balanced and healthy diet with natural ingredients.

There is also a range of diet creams aimed at senior citizens and people with trouble swallowing. They are the perfect solution to their problems and allow them to continue enjoying their meals, and look after themselves with these balanced meals for adults, containing 100% olive oil, low in salt and cholesterol, and without artificial colourings or preservatives. There is a wide range to choose from including chickpeas with chicken and beef, cream of courgettes with hake and prawns, beef with vegetables, chicken and potatoes, and so on.

Novelties include a new variety of mushroom meatballs in Spanish Oloroso Sherry sauce - delicious, moist and 100% natural. A balanced meal combining meat and mushrooms thus reducing the amount of protein and fat.

There is also a renewed range of 100% natural stuffed peppers in pure olive oil, without preservatives, colouring or artificial flavouring (glutamate free).

The preserves include the Special Selection range of asparagus, noteworthy for their exquisite flavour and appearance. There are also new products in line with current trends of creative cookery, healthy and easy to make, like the grilled salad of red peppers, onion and vegetables (ideal as a side-dish or a salad).
