Bodegas Ayuso was founded in 1947, its winery is located in the legendary Castilla de la Mancha region and it is renowned by its character wines, for example Estola wine.

Estola has been awarded with more than 25 gold medals in national and international contests.

Its "crianza", "reserva" and "gran reserva" wines results from a careful selection of the best quality vineyards.

After a delicate maceration and fermentation process, its wines are aged at oak barrels and afterwards in bottles.

The character of a wine is related to several factors commencing with the birth of the grape, its plantation, from that moment onward the characteristic of the weather, soil, grape variety, hydro availability will start shaping the wines character will mature in the heart of the winery, achieving its fullness.

When planning a vineyard plantation, these facts have to be taken into account since the quality of the wine depends on said factors.

The grapes used to elaborate the new wines come from Finca Los Azares. There, special attention is paid to the characteristics of the weather, vineyard plantation, orientation and conduction type studied to achieve colder micro climates.

The cultivated grape varieties include:
Garnacha, Merlot, Airén, Chardonnay, Macabeo o Viura, Sauvignon Blanc, Cencibel or Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Moscatel of small seeds y Petit Verdot.

The wineries facilities are modern and effective and are equipped with the latest technologic advances.

The subsoil of one of the warehouses is accessible via underground cellar with capacity for 10.000 oak bordelaise style barrels.

The volume of its current production is between 18 and 20 million bottles of which 20% is exported to more than 30 countries.
