Menswear brand Democrata is well known throughout the UK for it’s quality, style and value for money.

The footwear brand can be found throughout many independent stores within the UK and targets the 20-40 year old age group with handcrafted, mid-high fashion footwear at an extremely competitive price.

The company was founded in Franca (Sao Paulo) in 1983. Today it displays three production units - two in Franca and one in Camocin in Brazil.

The company have over 2,500 employees at present with a daily production capacity of around 8,000 pairs of shoes across 50 different lines.

Besides it’s strong performance within the UK and Brazilian markets, Democrata exports to 52 different countries in total within Europe, Latin America, North America, Australasia and the Middle East.

Currently around 35% of Democratas production is exported to international markets.
