Industrias Cosmic started out in 1985 in Barcelona with Salvador Edgar Martí. It focused its activity on design and on the creation of bath environments totally innovative in their performance, design and quality. Twenty years after, Cosmic has more than 1.500 retail outlets in Spain and 1.000 others all over the world and it controls a worldwide network of 700 suppliers.
The company has developed 3 business units distinctive but complementary:
o Cosmic: Complete range of bath environment products of exceptional design and quality, backed up by its own team of designers, Cosmic Studio, and the close collaboration of famous designers.
o Bath Time: Revolutionary shop concept where the bathroom is given a new status: to satisfy the need of a private space for the physical and spiritual well being of the people. At present there are 3 shops located in the city centre of Barcelona (Avda. Diagonal 460, in Bulevard Rosa Pso de Gracia, 51 and in the shopping centre La Illa Diagonal).
o Private Label: Production of private labels collections for others national and international bathroom manufacturers.

2005, its turnover reached 30 Million Euro with a total number of 125 employees in Spain and 75 in China. Cosmic experienced a very significant evolution: during the last five years its turnover increased in 100% and in 2008, foresees to reach 60 Million Euro through the business expansion plan being carried out all over the world.
Headquartered in Caldes de Montbui (Barcelona) Cosmic exports a 40% of its production to more than 30 countries.
As a consequence of the present ambitious expansion project carried out worldwide, Cosmic:
o In 2006, extends its plant in Caldes de Montbui with 2 new buildings: one of 8.000sqm for the Logistic, another one of 4.500sqm for offices, R&D department and a showroom.
o In 2005, the present building of a plant of 12.000sqm in the area of Guangdong in China mainly aims to keep improving quality and competitive prices, it also seeks to increase the manufacturing capacity and strengthen its position in a market with future.
