LPG Técnicas en Extinción de Incendios, S.A. was founded in 1985. The company currently has 4,400 m2 of premises in Esplugues de Llobregat, one of the most dynamic industrial areas close to Barcelona and just 10 minutes away from the international airport. Since its beginnings, the company manufactures and supplies fire protection systems for properties and persons. LPG has researched, designed, produced and marketed a great variety of automatic fire extinguishing systems and offers its total flooding products based on clean agents, inert gases, CO2 and Water Mist systems. The engineering capacity, advanced technology and excellent value for money have made of LPG a leader in the Spanish market. To date, the process of internationalisation has resulted in the creation of LPG Group of Companies, with subsidiary companies in France, Portugal, England, Uruguay, Turkey and shortly in Russia. LPG is also present in more than 40 countries with a network of sales and distribution agents. The company is ISO 9001-2000 certified with LPCB. LPG is currently one of the few manufacturers worldwide whose systems and components are endorsed by certifications from the most qualified organisations such as LPCB, VdS, CNPP and VNIIPO, from United Kingdom, Germany, France and Russia respectively. To expand the security services offered, LPG has created a new company: LPG Prevención y Protección de Explosiones (LPG Explosions Prevention and Protection). Its main objective is to offer solutions to the industrial sector, especially, to those industries with risk of explosive atmospheres.
