Pause Café will present its Summer 2009 collection at the upcoming edition of SIMM 08, the International Fashion Trade Show held in Madrid.
The Pause Café Summer 2009 collection comprises all the sparkle, frivolity, Elegance and Romance that can be found under the sun! Themes such as Casablanca, Florida, Aquatic, Peony, Mambo and Anisette evoke the siprit and feel of summer and set the tone for the entire collection. An explosion of color with spectacular prints! Turquoise, fuchsia, yellow, orange, red and Anis Green attract each other and mix harmoniously on printed voile; this explosion is then quietened by smaller pieces in refined fabrics that rub shoulders with soft knits suggesting a hot and sunny summer in the wardrobe! Frivolity is found in the brightness of plain lacquered linen that can be mixed with small open knit pieces or t-shirts with bronze, silver or gold medallions. The collection is refreshed with soft liberty prints on light cotton fabrics injecting a romantic touch in a theme that features new shapes and designs. The Pause Café principal of extreme comfort remains a major plus factor in the collection for Spring/Summer 2009 as cotton mixed with elastaine, technical knitwear and stretch linen are utilized throughout.
