SICARTT

Sicartt is a new-generation Italian company that is active in bathroom equipment sector.
Produces and distributes all bathroom furnishing components: wash-basins, cabinets, containers, mirrors, lamps and accessories. Bathroom requirements are entirely met.
The company relies on the long-established tradition of Sicart, a business which was created in the 1945 at Nove by Angelo Perin, (1921-†2006), grew to become one of the world-known Italian design brands.
Since the beginning of its activity, it has been out of the remaking field of artistic pottery articles aiming at more actual expressions; besides it takes part in all qualified exhibitions. By making its research deeper and deeper as regards useful shapes in ceramics, it has been availing itself of the collaboration of designers since 1955. After removing in 1969 to the new factory at Cartigliano, besides manufacturing pottery it devotes itself to a special workmanship, opening the way to new materials for furnishing articles.
During its activity Sicart was acknowledged worthy of several prizes, mentioning some of them:

- Macef MILANO prize 1966
- Gold Medal by Ministry of Industry and Commerce, FIRENZE 1966
- “Premio Biennale San Marco” VENICE 1970


Today as yesterday, Sicartt continues with its will to interpret the latest trends and tastes, and maintains the objective to offer products of a superior quality and to innovate with market introductions of a high stylistic value combined with functionality.


The present production capacity is around 27.000 pieces per year divided in several Sicartt’s models.

The spirit which makes Sicartt tick is a new one. Its basic values are: research, practicality and design, which presupposes that special attention is devoted to materials, colours and finishings.


Production features a very high quality standard for all models. The composition of the raw material, gres79, was developed and prepared over the years in order to be able to create high quality products, also technically difficult to make. The glazes are particularly careful, resistant and bright, and the colours are unalterable and customised for our products.
Our bicolour are executed entirely by hand, using high quality enamels. Decals are not used.
“Made in Italy” also means that Sicartt relies solely on competent Italian technicians and craftsmen for the manufacture of its products with a view to making its brand name stand for technological know-how. The company is in the process to obtain ISO 9001/2000 certification.
