The main objective of the Sao Paulo Convention & Visitors Bureau is to promote the city as a tourism destination, and especially as a host of national and international events of all types (cultural, sports, business events, trade shows, conferences, conventions, etc.);

As an organization bringing together various business leaders, the “Convention” expands relationships among all economic sectors that directly or indirectly benefit from tourism, and maintains good relations with all government spheres – local, state and federal;

To attract and generate events for Sao Paulo, SPCVB supports and advises entities and companies on organizing the necessary contacts to make the city a candidate to host events, therefore creating business opportunities for member companies.

One of our main activities is planning of marketing campaigns and activities to help attract larger numbers of visitors to the city;

SPCVB also provides technical assistance to organizations and event management companies on project feasibility studies;

Participation in trade shows, events and conferences targets attracting events to the city, and promoting Sao Paulo as a tourism and event hub;
