Anci engagements internationally

ANCI, the National Italian Footwear Manufacturers Association, has always been committed to promoting Italian-made shoes around the world. Over the next few months, it has organized several engagements that shine the spotlight on its associate companies and announce the exceptional taste, quality, and class of the quintessential Italian style. On Wednesday 22 and Thursday 23 March, the Sheraton Hotel in Brussels is playing host to Euroscarpa Benelux, a showcase for the best Italian production of high-end and mid-range shoes. The collective presentation of samples is an event that dates to 1978, established by the Footwear Fashion Diffusion Center, which, under the sponsorship of ANCI, is becoming a key sector event in this market and a showcase for the best Italian production of high-end and mid-range shoes.

Euroscarpa Benelux represents an exceptional venue for Italian footwear in Europe and around the world. The event was conceived to reach a vast and interesting market and is an ideal opportunity to set up business relationships and communicate new fashion and design projects, in a background of innovative and dramatic installations.
The event has traditionally been held in the centrally-located and elegant Sheraton Hotel of Brussels, where the economic community can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere, perfect for making purchases, while leaving behind the frenzied mood that frequently typifies trade fairs.
The strengths of this event are the completeness and superior selection of the exclusive offer, a dynamic vision of the markets and demand, a preview of the new trends and styles of the footwear industry, and promotion of the excellence of Italian fashion.
The biggest news of the 2006 edition is the event’s hours, which are extended to 10:30 pm.
Also in March, from 26 to 28, Le Parc Floral of Paris is hosting TEC, Tendances Européennes De Chaussures (formerly Espace Champerret), the collective presentation promoted by the Footwear Fashion Diffusion Center under the aegis of ANCI and in conjunction with Arici and Italmoda, industry representatives operating on the French market. The objective is to introduce the sector community to a selection of Fall/Winter 2006-2007 fashion proposals.
The importance of this event also lies in its suggestive location: Le Parc Floral is immersed in nature, open all year round to host events related to fashion, culture and art, and is sited just 15 minutes from Paris. Inside its 3,318 square meters of display space will be some 70 exhibitors, presenting a select assortment of Italian products, designed for the economic community in France and Central Europe.
Launch of this new expo network represents an important opportunity to promote the craftsmanship of Italian companies and the quality of Italian products.
The 2006 edition of TEC is expected to be important for number of visitors, high quality and the international scope of the exhibitors, in addition to the continuing commitment to shoring up the services and the growing attention devoted to promotion and communications.
Moda Made in Italy, the event dedicated to mid- to high-range footwear that ANCI has been organizing since 1992, will be held this year from 7 to 9 April at the MOC spaces of Munich.
Designed especially for the footwear industry in Southern Germany, Austria and Switzerland, the event has focused on the modern and worthy distribution of Central Europe and has quickly acquired an international scope, leading the Association to consider developing and expanding the possible users of the event, in order to understand the adjacent emerging markets: Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
Moda Made in Italy, always a player thanks to the experience of the community and the high quality of the companies and products presented, is facing demanding new challenges for the future, adapting its structure and its decisions based on the changes in the market and international trade fair sector.
For the next engagement at the MOC expo centre in Munich, MODA MADE IN ITALY will be hosted in HALL 2 Ground Floor and HALL 3 Ground Floor, First Floor, and Second Floor.
