The integration among metalforming, metalcutting and automation Photographed by 25.Bi-Mu

The show will take place in the new fiera milano exhibition centre from 5 to 10 October From 5 to 10 October 2006, the new Fiera Milano fairground will host the 25th edition of BI-MU that will take advantage of the flexibility granted by the state-of-the art exhibition centre to highlight the high level of technological integration achieved through the evolution of the machine tool industry.

As a matter of fact, nowadays, the most advanced sector offering is represented by machines and systems based on functional modularity, adaptable to production changes, more easily and more quickly than the classical working units, consequently making obsolete the classical subdivision among metalforming, metalcutting and automation, whose peculiar techniques are more and more often summed up in each production process. The new Fiera Milano exhibition centre, - having pavilions practically clear of any pillar or structural encumbrance and ensuring extraordinary accessibility and visibility to all stands, - will enable 25.BI-MU to show this reality in a more direct way, overcoming the limits of the merely specialized trade shows, in accordance with the requirements of users and manufacturers. On the other hand, the exhibition promoted by UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE, already well-known as the most “articulated” among the shows of the sector, has enriched with more and more contents and importance over the years, becoming an event that cannot be renounced by the operators of the whole manufacturing industry. In fact, 25.BI-MU will be the climax of the exhibiting event, also proposing the offer of components and structural machining, specialized reviews of the most recent technological solutions for welding, assembling, dies and moulds, a full conference programme and initiatives aiming at emphasizing the professional opportunities generated by the sector. The authoritativeness of the exhibition organized by EFIM-ENTE FIERE ITALIANE MACCHINE has been proven by the success of its 2004 edition, visited by almost 81,000 operators, flocked to Milan from the five continents. 1,844 enterprises – including also 1,077 direct exhibitors - attended the show, among whom 343 were agents and traders; the foreign representative was composed of 782 enterprises, representing 30 countries; the stands covered a surface exceeding 70,000 sqm.; the value of the almost 4,000 machines was estimated at 350 million euro. The 25.BI MU site (www.bimu-sfortec.com) offers steadily updated news and special services: the application forms to exhibit at the show, the exhibitors’ catalogue, press material for all communication operators, the possibility of pre-registration that enables people wishing to visit the exhibition to receive a free entrance card within the terms indicated on-line.
