Top-quality Exhibitors – Lectures – Championships – Award Presentations
The topic of beauty is on the agenda for the month of March. From Friday, 17th to Sunday, 19th of March, producers and users of professional cosmetics services meet at BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL, the leading trade fair that offers an attractive professional programme. Every year, 1,000 exhibitors and brands from 25 countries get together at the event where suppliers can present their products and services. More than 50,000 specialists flock to the city on the River Rhine to use the fair as the basis for their order decisions and to gather information.
There is something special about BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL. With its hands-on approach and comprehensive product range it presents itself in an exclusive atmosphere, which is the reason for the high concentration of trade visitor registrations. The fair offers exhibitors and visitors a clearly organised, professional social programme and top-level quality. Service and ambiance are definitely the focus of this trade fair – this includes the International Business Club, the Fashion Lounge, the Wellness Oasis and the Innovations Gallery.
Main Offers at BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL The range of offers at BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL (halls 9 to 12) includes cosmetics, nail, foot, wellness, permanent make-up, sun, services and furnishings as well as equipment and salon accessories. This is augmented by approximately 90 lectures in the workshops (hall 7), at the professional meeting points and the meeting point as well as the German and International Make-up and Nail Championship. And exactly this broad range of offers prompts top-quality trade visitors to include BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL as the main event in their scheduling every year. At any rate, 73 percent of all visitors are returning visitors, and 67 percent of the visitors are independent entrepreneurs or partners in a company. Cosmetics at BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL – the Exclusive Industry Centre The cosmetics area at BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL is extremely diversified. Here, visitors may find nurturing, decorative and device-based cosmetics as well as permanent make-up, furnishing and accessories. Demand for the latest products and treatment options is enormous. In Düsseldorf, new trends can be experienced live – here, well established and innovative products alike are showcased and introduced. Polished Ideas in the Nail Industry Hall Nail care is achieving ever-higher levels of perfection, and nail design is characterised by its willingness to experiment. The Nail Championships are a continued audience favourite and are praised every year by visitors and participants alike. 2006 will not be an exception – the International Nail Championships will be held again this year, and, for the first time, there will also be National Nail Championships. Both championships include two categories each (powder-liquid and gel). Trade Visitors want Solid Ground - Professional Sector Foot and Wellness The foot sector ranks very high with BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL visitors. It comes as no surprise that the professional programme at the Meeting Point Foot is of very high quality and is offered by renowned experts each year. Among the topics of major interest to the industry are optimised treatment methods in cosmetic and medical podiatry, foot care products and the use of new equipment. The Central Association of Podiatrists and Chiropodists, which is involved in the professional programme, provides a high level of support. Special Exhibition Day Spa “Sensual Worlds of Wellness” In cooperation with the German Wellness Association (Deutscher Wellness Verband, e.V.), BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL features a day spa in hall 11. Every room is designed specifically according to its intended use. The display includes a reception and sales area, a cabin for facials, a tub room, a body care cabin as well as a shower room. There will also be presentations of the treatment experience in the body care room. Here, visitors may familiarise themselves with treatments such as peelings, body wraps, oil massages and energetic treatments in a harmonious ambiance, while checking out selected paraphernalia and products. At the specially designed, 225 m2-large “Thai Pavilion“, 25 Thai exhibitors showcase special products and treatment options. In addition, visitors to the wellness area may visit a training and professional development centre as well as ten sample cabins featuring current furnishing options, technical equipment, innovative products and the corresponding treatments. 23 presentations introduce visitors to important information on the topics of treatments, strategies and developments in the industry. The wellness oasis offers the option to test and sample some of the treatments. Here, stressed trade fair visitors can indulge in massage, meditation and refreshments.
