In cooperation with the German Wellness Association (Deutscher Wellness Verband, e.V.), BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL features a day spa in hall 11. Every room is designed specifically according to its intended use and impresses through functional features and sensual design. The display includes a reception and sales area, a cabin for facials, a tub room, a body care cabin as well as a shower room. Clever yet simple storage solutions are presented to avoid cluttering the rooms with non-essential items such as towels, various products and devises. There will also be presentations of the treatment experience in the body care room. Here, visitors may familiarise themselves with treatments such as peelings, body wraps, oil massages and energetic treatments in a harmonious ambiance, while checking out selected paraphernalia and products.
Effective Design with Little Effort
The amenity samples introduced at BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL 2006 in Düsseldorf stand out not only for their impressive aesthetics but also for their resonable acquisition costs. The clever solutions presented by internationally renowned spa consultant Sylvia Glückert and the Düsseldorf-based interior design expert Rainer Dausch show that authentic interior design does not necessarily break the bank. During the trade fair, they give personal presentations on their furnishing ideas. Visitors are provided with detailed material and product lists including sample costs calculations during guided tours of the special exhibition. Armed with these valuable tips and tricks, operators can transform small cosmetics institutes or ambitious day spas into wonderful “Sensual Worlds of Wellness” in a cost-efficient manner.
Other Wellness Trends in Hall 11
Ten further sample cabins feature current furnishing options, technical equipment, innovative products and the corresponding treatments. A treatment table with sand, warm sand bags of varying sizes and aromatic agents are used for face and body treatments, a music bed provides deep relaxation and energy balancing and a Scen Tao cabin, equipped with corresponding products, demonstrates holistic wellness. These are just a few of the options available.
Competent training and professional development providers inform and consult on all educational options, from special training workshops to individual treatment options and complete courses of study.
The program at the Meeting Point Wellness offers 23 presentations on new treatments, strategies and developments in the industry that provide valuable information for individual studios. The wellness oasis offers the option to test and sample some of the enticing treatments. Here, stressed trade fair visitors can indulge in massage, meditation and refreshments.
