Young Designers – CERANOR/CASA CLAUDIA
EXPONOR, in partnership with CASA CLAUDIA magazine, is launching the “Young Designers” competition. The idea is to set apart, through creativity, the best interior design project in the area of coatings - tile patterns, fabric or wallpaper - giving young designers the opportunity to get in touch with the professional world, thus broadening their career opportunities.
Aimed at final year students and new graduates in art and interior design, the projects have to be individual. Each application must, obligatorily, include the following documents: application form published in the July and August edition of CASA CLAUDIA magazine, duly filled out and signed; documentary evidence of final year student status; project identified with the student’s name; this should also include a descriptive text that covers the following elements: concept, technical specifications and type of coating; lastly, the proposals submitted should be no larger than an A2 format. If the representation does not match the real format, the scale used should be indicated. The application should be sent by mail to the CASA CLAUDIA magazine’s address (see address and other information at < a href= http://www.ceranor.exponor.pt target=_blank> www.ceranor.exponor.pt) by 23rd August 2006 (postmark date). The jury’s decision will be made by 1st September 2006. All participants will see their projects exhibited at CERANOR 2006. The winner is entitled to the publication of a news report in Casa Claudia and of a project on a topic to be decided in the same magazine’s special edition on bathrooms and kitchens. Apart from these prizes, s/he will also have the opportunity to display her/his work, at no cost, at INTERDECORAÇÃO 2007.
