EMO Hannover 2007: The FZ 37 goes into the third generation
The FZ 37 – one of the most successful products of F. Zimmermann GmbH – will be
presented in its third development generation at the EMO in Hanover, the world largest
trade fair for metalworking, in September 2007. The sales figures tell their own story: over
the past few years the FZ 37 has been the best selling model in the F. Zimmermann GmbH
product range
The reasons for this are its versatility and highly praised precision and reliability. A well balanced relationship between the spindle and milling head parameters combined with the mechanical design and drive technology make it suitable for a multitude of applications, from finish machining of pressing tools, high-performance cutting of aluminium in prototype production and the aircraft industry, via model making and design applications to high-precision machining of composite materials.
As well as the typical options which a HSC milling machine must offer today, many special solutions have been developed, such as individual clamping and extraction systems, in-process control and integrated software solutions.
