Expofranquicia 2007 prepares a grand meeting for the industry

The thirteenth edition of the Franchising Trade Fair, EXPOFRANQUICIA, expects to bring together more than 350 franchise brands. 80 per cent of the exhibitors who took part last year will participate at the next edition.

EXPOFRANQUICIA 2007 will organise the MADRID FRANCHISING FORUM for the first time. This will consist of different  events aimed at promoting agreement among professionals from the industry.
A large part of the franchise sector will be present at Feria de Madrid between 26th and 28th April 2007, taking part at the thirteenth Franchising Trade Fair, EXPOFRANQUICIA, which expects to bring together more than 350 franchise brands and present a net exhibition area measuring 7,500 square metres. In fact, half of the space available has already been reserved. This edition will provide the fair with a new opportunity to consolidate its role as a leading business forum for this sector.
In this respect, IFEMA, the body that organises the fair, has set up a intensive national and international promotional campaign aimed at investors. A wide-ranging series of measures, both commercial and promotional, is thus being implemented in order to target all groups that may be interested in the fair. This campaign will seek to boost the already high professional standing of EXPOFRANQUICIA.
80 per cent of the exhibitors who participated at last year's edition have confirmed that they will attend the next edition. This figure reflects the high degree of loyalty that exists among the franchisers that attend the fair, no doubt based on the success of the last edition, which not only recorded some excellent business and investment results, but featured a general climate of satisfaction, based on the high quality of the products and services on show, the stature of the participants and the business opportunities available within this field.
With these assets, EXPOFRANQUICIA 2006 will once again present the best offer from this important economic sector, which is aimed at the Foodstuffs and mass consumer goods sectors; Household Furnishing; Hotel and Catering; Personal Outfitting; Business Services and Specialized Services; Consulting; Finance Companies; Dry-cleaning, Leisure and Education, and Specialized Magazines sectors.
The two most important professional associations within the industry, the Spanish Franchisers Association, AEF, and the Spanish Association for the Development and Defence of Franchising, AEDEF, have also renewed their complete backing for the fair.
The Madrid Franchising Forum
Furthermore, EXPOFRANQUICIA 2007 will organise the MADRID FRANCHISING FORUM for the first time, which will consist of the staging of an interesting programme of specialised conferences, aimed at enhancing the training and general agreement of professionals within the sector. The event will be divided into a series of roundtables, chats, debates, conferences, personalised consulting sessions, etc ..., a whole range of different activities that will strive to provide an integral perspective on franchising in Spain, thus serving as a forum for debate regarding the current state of the sector. Access to the Forum will be free. It will be organised by EXPOFRANQUICIA, in conjunction with the Madrid Chamber of Trade and Industry and MundoFranquicia Consulting.
EXPOFRANQUICIA is considered to be an ideal framework for the staging of these kinds of trade meetings and events, thus testifying to the fair's impact as a meeting-point for all members of the franchising industry.
