Final Report 2005

The 14th international exhibition of interiors and living together with BUILDING House, flat and reconstruction was held between Sept 8th-11th in the premises of Prague Exhibition Grounds.

The fair closed on the 11th September with an increasing number of visitors and exhibitors.
A total number of 347 companies, including 304 Czech companies and 43 foreign companies participated in a net space of 19 500 m2 / sq.m.
with a number of 14 967 audited visitors.
Sanoma Magazines Praha company has been again the fair´s strategical partner. 25% of net exhibition space has been occupied by foreign companies, namely from Slovakia. From companies´and exhibitors´estimation results, that this fair has found it´s place in exhibitions and fairs calendar. 49% of exhibitors took part in our spring fair as well, and they anticipated their presentation twice a year in future. For one part of exhibitors the presentation in autumn-term is more convenient then in spring, in particular with regard to Christmas market Both, contracts´concluding in a half-year cycle and direkt sale to visitors, mean a very good prospekt to Pragointerier.

MAIN RESULTS SUMMARY
•Out of totaly 287 exhibitors 248 took part in this year´s inquiry, that means 86,4%.
•Respondents did represent 39%  micro companies with up to 10 employees, 34% small firms with up to 50 employees, 23% medium enterprises with up to 250 employees.
•49% of autumn-exhibitors took part in spring Pragointerier/New Design as well, 1/6 out of them noticed changes of both, fair and exhibition grounds
•Their autumn exposition was larger in 22% of CASE, equal in 69% and smaller then in spring term in 9%.
•Main form of publicity of exhibitors´participation in the fair consists in individualy directed invitations to existing business partners and other members of specialised public´s segment and advertising in professional press.
•Laid out object was wholly or mostly accomplished for 33% addresed exhibitors, partly for 31%.
•85% exhibitors expect further business negotiations after the fair´s termination, 82% then sale´s increase of their merchandise after the fair.
•Most favourable estimation was earned by fair´s conception, fair´s assertion from side of the organizer, offer of publicity activities and quality of provided services. Exhibitors criticaly implied number of exhibitors, visitors´interest in supply, results of business negotiations and structure of visitors, theme of fair´s publicity campaign and total number of visitors.
•12% of respondents valued the fair as a whole as very good, 66% as rather good.
•2/3 of exhibitors claimed to definitely take part or rather take part in both parts of the year´s 2006, terms of which comply with more than 4/5 inquired.
•1/3 of inquired exhibitors formulated their reminders, recommendations and suggestions to a further touch up of quality of the fair Pragointerier.

MAIN RESULTS´ SUMMARY
•70% visitors – respondents to inquiry – were 30 – 59 years old.
•Participation of women on the fair Pragointerier rose outstandingly in September.
•The fair was visited by prevalence of higher educated people – 58% with leaving examination and 24% with university diploma.
•21% visitors formed professionals of the sphere of the fair´s direction. 53% of professional visitors make decision regarding eventual contracts independently and 16% partly independenly.
•Internet and invitations to exhibitors belonged to most expanded informative sources.
•65% of inquired came to get acquainted with the whole offer of the branch and 25% sought information of one group of products.
•More than 2/3 visitors found all or almost all they had sought on this year´s fair.
•Visitors valued most favourably the organizatory fair´s assertion – 1,65, as a reason for discontent – 2,14 – was mentioned a total number of exhibitors.
•Majority of visitors – 84% - did welcome the  linking up of Pragointerier-Living Fair and Pragointerier Building Fair.
•39% of inquired visited the fair for the first time and 22% felt under regular visitors.
•About 1/10 of inquired took part in an accompanying programme.
•65% of inquired has already decided today to visit again next year´s fair of interior and living.
•46% of inquired visit more fairs with living theme yearly. 1/3 of them consider Pragointerier a prestigious fair in given branch.
•Almost ½ of visitors drove a car to Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice and 2/5 came by tram. 9% of respondents took advantage of the fair´s special bus line.
Media campaign was devided in 2 parts: since February till May it has been aimed at professional media above all, ensuing advertising in general media has been aimed at dailies and periodicals,  mainly in the form of PR articles. Pragointerier is listed in international catalogues of fairs.
