Final Report 2006
The 15th international exhibition of furniture, flooring, home, textiles, lighting and accessories, together with the 7th contracting and sales exhibition was held in the Prague Exhibition Grounds – Holešovice in the Czech Republic.
The fair closed on the 5th February with an increasing number of visitors and exhibitors.
534 exhibitors participated in a net space of 10 227 m2 / sq.m.
with a number of 32 091 audited visitors.
The Pragointerier fair is the number one fair of its kind in the Czech Republic. It takes place semiannually, still developing and its volume growing. Despite its range of exhibits being reduced by leaving out office furniture that is being exhibited separately at Pragooffice Fair, the number of exhibitors and leased exhibition space grew again. Exhibitors from 11 countries participated in the 2006 Fair.
The fair was held together with exhibitions WINDOWS - DOORS - STAIRS and HOUSING.
The media campaign was organized on two different levels – professional and general. From October 2005 to January 2006, it was oriented toward professional media, primarily as PR articles in trade periodicals combined with ads, and, from mid December to late January 2006, supplemented by coupons granting 50% discount on Fair entrance tickets. From early this year to the Fair opening, a campaign in daily press went on, supplemented by strategic billboards on highways and public transit junctions (buses, subway). Following the successful TV campaign last year, commercials for the Fair were broadcast on radios and again on Prima TV. International professional periodicals also informed on the fair being organized.
