Habitat Valencia Forward 2007

Nude Show opens its invitation and debuts new location at Feria Valencia

Now announcing its 6th edition, the Nude Show is a specific area within Habitat Valencia Forward acting as a springboard for the work of young designers. The show is changing location this year to the main lobby at Feria Valencia, one of the busiest spots at the fair, through which all visitors pass.

The upcoming edition for 2007 is already under preparation, and entries will be accepted from 15th through 30th May from young designers and from manufacturers and producers of contemporary furniture with less than five years experience, or galleries.

Participants can present all kinds of objects and equipment included within the habitat, accompanied by corresponding graphic material, both for the object itself as well as for its physical presentation at the stand. A jury of experts will evaluate the entries received and select what they judge to be the best works, based on criteria of innovation in design, use of ecological materials and feasibility for production. The projects chosen for the Show will be on view at the upcoming edition of Habitat Valencia Forward to be held from 24th through 29th September.

This cultural platform is a focal point for cutting-edge design where one can discover the latest tendencies and explore the innovations taking place in the habitat. Following the success of the last edition, the organisation is working to ensure a larger and more attractive space for this section showcasing the work of up-and-coming designers.

The goal for 2007 is to increase the number of works on show while maintaining the level of projection acquired so far, and in this regard, the show is being moved to the main lobby at Feria Valencia. Given that this is one of the busiest places in the exhibition centre, Nude will see its profile heightened as a platform for new trends and set the tone of design for visitors to the fair.
