Röhrs Top-Products at the Hannover Fair

THE COMPANY The Dr. Werner Röhrs KG will exhibit its product innovations on the joint stand “Bayern Innovativ”. Innovations concerning spring, blower and burner technology as well as ski-lift technology will be presented to an international audience of specialists.

SPRING TECHNOLOGY
Multi-wire springs are made of stranded wire with various types of stranding and are used as helical compression springs, torsion springs and formed springs. Our multi-wire springs are highly sophisticated technical products. They are employed wherever single-wire springs of round or profiled wire would normally fail due to high impact loads and frequencies. Because of the types of stranding the multi-wire spring has increased spring power and reduced torsional stresses compared to single-wire springs.

Our patented helical disk spring is a tried and tested component which can often replace the familiar multi-layer disk spring assembly. It is made up of two identical helical compression springs screwed together, both made of steel strip with a cross-section similar to that of disk springs. The uninterrupted grain flow of the basic material increases service life and reduces the risk of fracture of the coiled helical disk spring.

We design tailor-made spring combinations and spring sets for our customers whenever particular compression, tension and helical disk springs do not meet requirements. For these designs we optimize the parameters of spring force, operating safety, service life and overall length.

We manufacture all kinds of patented steel spring wires, oil final quenched spring and valve spring wires, rust-resistant spring wires, stainless steels, special materials like Inconel, Nimonic, Hastelloy and other special spring steels (ERCO) in dimensions from 0.3 – 16 mm. We manufacture all materials as round or flat wire with rectangular or trapezoidal profiles.

SKI-LIFT TECHNOLOGY
We manufacture one and two person towing units for cable lifts. Röhrs towing units are used on mountain ridges, glacial areas and ski-regions all over Europe. Our product’s reliability has been prooven under all atmospheric conditions. Service and maintenance is easy handled.

We manufacture wire-rope clips for cable lifts and chair lifts for wire-rope diameters from 13-36 mm. Our wire-rope clips with spring-operating storage and pendular-break meet the highest demands concerning quality in the ski-lift industry. The clips are manufactured from highly forged heat-treated steel and therefore show the highest qualities concerning lifetime and wear.

FAN WHEELS
For over 50 years we have been specialized in development, construction and manufacture of high-quality fan wheels. Our products are used in diverse industries, such as air conditioning technology, gas and oil burner technology, in purifiers as well as in medical engineering.
We are able to provide custom-made solutions for our customer’s individual ventilation problems. We guarantee constant high quality for our fan wheels due to thorough selection of raw materials, state-of-the-art production lines and strict quality inspections.

BURNER & FIRE TUBES
Our range of production concerning burner and fire tubes contains more than 500 different types. We are working with highly heat-proof (up to 1150°C) and high-precision steel tubes, sheets and plates, highly resistant to oxidising and deoxidising sulfurous gases. We are also using unalloyed steel sheets/plates and rust-resistant and acid-resistant steel sheets/plates. We ensure tolerances of less than 0.1 mm. We deliver for all areas of application since we are able to master every possible deformation concerning all different materials.

QUALITY
The highest quality of all our products lies at the heart of our philosophy and has been the cornerstone of our success over many decades. It is not only throughout the manufacturing process that we check the quality of our products. In the design and development phase, we conduct extensive analyses of our products, including initial sample and lifetime tests. For this, we stay in constant contact with our customers to achieve the best possible technical and commercial results.
