Hanseboot 2008: When and Where

Hanseboot 2008 is open daily from 10:00 to 18:00 hours, with extended opening till 19:00 on the Wednesday, at the Hamburg Fair site and the hanseboot harbour. Find below all the details for hanseboot .

Tickets: Comeback ticket – pay once, see hanseboot twice
In 2008 the day ticket will be replaced by the “Comeback ticket”, which costs 13 euros (concessions 11 euros). The ticket gives not only admission for one day, but also re-entry from 3:00 p.m. on any other day. That gives visitors more hanseboot for their money, without increase in admission prices.

Acces to Hanseboot 2008: Faster access via the online ticket shop
The new online ticketing system gives visitors admission to hanseboot without queuing. You can order tickets online, from the comfort of your own home, at www.hanseboot.de. That provides an online facility to book, pay for and print Comeback tickets, two-day tickets and the 3:0 p.m. ticket. Buying the ticket at the online ticket shop will also save you money – the Comeback ticket then costs only 11 euros rather than the ticket office price of 13 euros. The online ticket gives every visitor direct access to the fair site, so there is no need to queue at the ticket office. Online payment is exclusively by credit card. Complimentary tickets from exhibitors can also be validated online by entering the ticket code.

Reduced admission charges for public transport users
Visitors to hanseboot who present a valid Hamburg public transport ticket (HVV) can buy the Comeback ticket at the cheaper rate of 11 euros. If a group is travelling on an HVV group ticket, all members of the group can buy the reduced-rate Comeback ticket.
All admission tickets also give admission to the hanseboot harbour at Baumwall. Further information on reductions, family tickets and other offers are shown in the visitors sub-menu at www.hanseboot.de

Hanseboot: How to get there? Four entrances to hanseboot
Visitors to hanseboot 2008 can choose between four entrances – two at the A site near the Television Tower, and two at the B-site on the other side of the road. Access to the A-site is easy from Sternschanze station (S-Bahn and U3 underground train), which is very close to Entrance West (next to Hall A3). It is less than three minutes’ walk from the station platform to the boat halls. Entrance West is also a good choice for those travelling by car, as a new car park has been built here with more than 400 parking spaces. There is also a multi-storey car park (Parkhaus Messe) in Lagerstrasse, giving easy access to the Central Entrance at Messeplatz, right next to the Television Tower. Access to the B-site is also available via Entrance East, near Dammtor station (S-Bahn and main line trains) and Stephansplatz station (U1), or Entrance South at Messehallen station (U2).
