IFES meeting in USA
IFES International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services: French delegation to meet US World of Exhibition at EDPA Annual Meeting and Supplier Showcase in San Diego, California, 29 November – 1 December 2006 (San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina)
IFES, EDPA (US Exhibit Designers and Producers Association) & FFMEE (Fédération Française des Métiers de l’Exposition et de l’Evènement) are pleased to announce that a delegation of 5 member companies of IFES' French member FFMEE will be participating at the EDPA Annual meeting in San Diego from 29 November to 1 December 2006 (San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina).
FFMEE’s mission is to offer its members the necessary tools to follow up on industry developments and sector evolutions in France, but also globally. Heading the delegation is Sophie Chenel, CEO of Procédés Chenel. Mrs. Chenel is also vice-chair of the IFES marketing committee.
"The complete French delegation is looking forward to experiencing what animates our industry in the US through the conference sessions and the networking with US delegates. For sure, these contacts will also contribute to forging international business partnerships, said Sophie Chenel.

EDPA is the US Member of IFES. It is an internationally recognized national trade association with more than 370 corporate members from 18 countries that are engaged in the design, manufacture, transport, installation and service of displays and exhibits primarily for the trade show industry.
EDPA’s purpose is to provide education, leadership and networking for the advancement of its members and the exhibition industry. "Our main event of the year is EDPA's annual convention, tradeshow and golf tournament for industry members and their suppliers. We are delighted that again European country delegations have found their way to the US. We are grateful to IFES for promoting our event to their membership and hope that more international companies will attend during the event" underlined Pete Dicks, executive director of EDPA.
IFES is the International Federation of Exhibition and Event Services. It missions is to encourage the
sharing of knowledge among companies in the sector. It is therefore fully engaged in supporting all
initiative aiming at bringing internationally minded exhibit builders and their suppliers together to
