In its fourth edition, multi-product selection has certified the high quality of its proposals
The fair registered the presence of 5,300 professionals, from 35 countries, confirming the sector´s confidence in this new edition. The show has been consolidated as the top European meeting place for professionals from the bulk-sales sector, with the participation of 433 companies from 20 countries, in a surface area of 14,500 net square metres.
The fourth edition of MULTI-PRODUCT SELECTION, a show that has brought together the top manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and distributors of fixed price products and the professionals from the bulk-sales sector, received 5,300 trade visitors, certifying the maturity of a fair that has been confirmed as an essential business forum for the businessmen from the sector. MULTI-PRODUCT SELECTION has brought together 433 companies, directly, represented and in brand names in a net exhibition surface area of 14,500 square metres, which has brought together exhibitors from 20 countries, amongst which are: Germany, Andorra, Bangladesh, China, Spain, France, India, Italy, Israel, Mexico, the Netherlands, Pakistan and Portugal. This international presence reaffirms the growing stature of this fair, which has become the main European show for professionals from the sector. These figures confirm the significant interest that the show has raised, which after four editions continues to consolidate the participation of its exhibitors and strengthens the attendance of purchasers, thanks to the increase in the quality of its products and to the incorporation of new companies from sectors linked to the commercial worlds of gift, decoration, home furnishings and clothing, amongst others. As regards the origins of the foreign purchasers, the participation of visitors from 35 countries should be underscored, amongst which are Portugal, France, Serbia and Montenegro, Italy, Andorra, Croatia, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Malta. There has also been a significant representation of professionals from countries that are introducing, as a new business opportunity, multi-product channel articles onto their markets. Amongst them are Albania, Angola, Austria, the Cayman Islands, Cyprus, Ecuador, the United Arab Emirates, Gabon, Iran, Israel and Jordan. Another point worth mentioning is the extensive national representation with the presence of Spanish visitors from the Madrid Region (32.21%), Andalusia (9.68%), Valencia Region (9.68%), Castille and León (7.93%), Catalonia (6.52%), Castille La Mancha (5.27%), the Canary Islands (4.09%), Galicia (4.09%), Aragón (3.46%), Murcia (3,34%) and the Basque Country (3.18%). At the fair, purchasers from the following countries were also present: the Balearic Islands, Cantabria, Extremadura, La Rioja, Navarra, Ceuta, Melilla and Asturias. In the breakdown of trade visitors, the extensive attendance by professionals from the retailer channel, with 41.29%, as well as the participation of wholesalers, with 26.88% and to a lesser extent the presence of megastores, with 4.09% should be mentioned. The sectors that awoke most interest in this edition were fashion jewellery, decoration, gift articles, cosmetics, toys and games, flowers, ironmongery and electronics. MULTI-PRODUCT SELECTION has fulfilled the expectations of the professionals from the sector offering new product lines aimed at the next summer season, allowing salesmen to replace their stocks before the summer period, on of the most important sales periods as a result of the tourism. In addition to this, this annual event has become an excellent platform to select a wide variety of new products in all the segments. Amongst the articles that have stood out at this show are the Carnival products, which have widened their use to all kinds of events, as for example for birthday parties, end of course parties, saints´ feast days, etc. and which are available at the sales outlets throughout the entire year. The fair has also allowed the salesmen to discover the latest products for the Christmas and Epiphany campaign, both for the traditional articles (Christmas decorations, nativity scenes, trees...) and for the new lines of ornaments and decorations created specifically for this period (dinner services, candles, table linen...). MULTI-PRODUCT SELECTION 2005 has certified the top quality, both in the presentation of the products and in the stands that have taken part in this edition, which has based its success on the excellent quality/price ratio of its products and in the confidence that the professionals from the sector have placed in this edition.
