The Intergift exhibition will reflect the growing maturity of the industry

The fair will take place within the framework of International Gift, Jewellery and Fashion Jewellery Week, coinciding with BISUTEX and IBERJOYA International Gift, Jewellery and Fashion Jewellery Week will take place between 14th and 18th September 2006, presenting the fairs INTERGIFT, BISUTEX and IBERJOYA, three trade events organised by IFEMA that will offer maximum representation of the consumer goods and household furnishings industry, based on the direct participation of more than 2,100 Spanish and foreign companies. At this edition, the Week is expected to once again occupy all ten halls at FERIA DE MADRID, along with additional connected areas, making up a total exhibition space of more than 101,000 square metres. This showcase will present thousands of new features and product references that have been specially prepared for the Christmas and New Year sales campaigns, offering professionals an opportunity to discover the latest trends on the international market.

The scope of INTERGIFT and its spectacular exhibition will reflect an increasingly mature industry, as well as the considerable capacity of companies operating within the sector to adapt their products to changes in demand, attending each edition as they do with a range of interesting new features in every segment. In this respect,  INTERGIFT, which is due to stage its 51st edition and celebrate 25 years at the industry's service, will confirm its role as an essential business and promotional tool, providing a forum at which representatives of supply and demand can establish profitable trade contacts, define strategies, exchange points of view, analyze the current state of the market and, in short, update their approaches with the latest products and trends.
Thus, the exhibiting companies will once again present a high-quality selection of products though a series of carefully designed stands and the creation of a number of special ambiences and global exhibition areas that place the emphasis on providing an integral response to demand within the various trade segments. The architectural contribution made by the fairground itself consists of a range of halls that perfectly match this presentational philosophy, featuring a layout based on ten different sectors, in which the products groups are clearly defined: Textile Selection, Hall 1; Decorative Concepts, Halls 3 and 5;  Unique Objects, Halls 1.1. and 5.1.; Tableware and Home Furnishings, Hall 7; Decorative Items, Present-Day Design and Ornamental Accessories at Hall 9;  Fantasy and Design at Halls 4 and 6; Miscellaneous Gifts, Halls 2 and 2.1.,   and Travel Items, Hall 6.
.BISUTEX: An Innovative Exhibition and a Sector in the Throes of Expansion
Coinciding with INTERGIFT, BISUTEX, the Fashion Jewellery and Accessories Trade Fair, will also take place during the Week. This is a unique event in which creativity and innovation go hand in hand with the world of fashion. Over 300 exhibiting companies, Spanish and international designers and brands of considerable renown on the world markets will present their latest collections of fashion jewellery and accessories for the Autumn-Winter 2006/2007 season.  The fair will present an entire universe of high-quality imaginative and cutting-edge designs, providing professionals with a complete overview of the latest trends and new features within the sector, based on the high stature of the companies and product lines presented at the fair.
This fair, which will stage its thirty-ninth edition as an established part of the European trade fair calendar and one of the key points of reference within the industry, will reflect the progress of an industry that is clearly expanding within the current economic climate, based on the highly dynamic and competitive performance of the companies operating within the sector, as well as their capacity to rapidly adapt to changing fashion trends each season.
.International Guest Programme: A Key Tool for Discovering New Areas of Business
Another of the key aspects of these trade events is the growing presence of buyers from all around the world, reflecting the industry's growing international dimension, which is backed by the promotional campaigns carried out abroad by the trade fair organizers. Among these measures, we might highlight the International Guest Programme, which, over the years, has proven to be a highly effective initiative, providing a key form of support for those companies interested in extending or establishing links in new areas of business.
