SICI 2010: Ifema and AMC Will Stage the Next Edition of SICI

SICI 2010: The new dates mean that SICI will now take place in even-numbered years, thus boosting the exhibition's positioning on the circuit of international fairs for the industry. The sixth edition of SICI, the International Integral Kitchen Exhibition, which was initially planned to take place in October 2009, has changed its dates and will now be staged during the last quarter of the year 2010.

This readjustment of the Ifema fair calendar responds to the requests that have been received from companies within the industry and will effectively boost the participants' activity levels and marketing strategies.
The change of dates means that SICI will now take place in even-numbered years, thus boosting the exhibition's positioning on the circuit of international fairs for the industry, with the fair already being ranked second in terms of importance. Furthermore, a sufficient time gap has been created in order to distance the fair from the most outstanding European events, thus providing foreign companies with the necessary months in order to organise their participation at SICI. Specifically, the international dimension of SICI is one of the aspects that the organisers have boosted most strongly at recent editions, based on sustained growth in participation in terms of both foreign companies and leading brands, not to mention the number of visitors who attend the fair from abroad.
Organised by Ifema and promoted by AMC, the Spanish Kitchen Manufacturers Association, SICI 2010 will bring together all the top companies and brands in the halls at Feria de Madrid, as well as an exclusive selection of ideas in kitchen furniture;      tables, chairs and kitchen benches; sinks; built-in kitchen appliances; worktops (not laminate), kitchen taps and software. In this respect, SICI will once again becomea focal-point for distributors, architects, decorators, interior designers, construction companies, housing developers and other prescribing parties, who will find a comprehensive preview of the latest new features in design, technology and materials applied to the kitchen, as well as the latest practical solutions relating to space organisation.
