The fifty-sixth edition of the Madrid International Fashion Fair (SIMM), the second most important clothes manufacturing event for the industry in Europe, is preparing for a new edition, which will take place between 1st and 3rd September next at Feria de Madrid. On this occasion, the fair will change its dates, taking place between Friday and Sunday for the first time, thus reducing the duration of the event to three days. In this respect, SIMM has responded to the various requests that have been made by the exhibitors, endowing the event with the same duration as other European events. To date, more than 730 companies have confirmed their participation at the forthcoming edition of SIMM, where they will exhibit their Spring-Summer 2007 collections within an exhibition area measuring some 28,800 square metres.
